NEW LONDON, CT Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- ePath Learning, Inc. announced today that the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) has selected and deployed ePath Learning ASSESS, an online testing service, to aid in the education and certification of USSA coaches across the U.S. The testing is based on the high-quality, cutting edge Elite Performance Series CD-ROMs. Coaches can earn certification credits by taking USSA tests online in Sports Nutrition, Sports Psychology and Strength and Power Training, as well as the testing portion of the Alpine Level 100 and 200 clinics. The USSA Coaches Education Program has been recognized as one of the top sports education programs in the world.
The vision of the USSA is to make the United States the best in the world in skiing and snowboarding in the 2006 Olympic Games in Torino, Italy. By fielding and maintaining winning teams of world-class ski and snowboard athletes, USSA can make the dream a reality. USSA is the most diverse of any Olympic Sports Organization with six different athletic sports programs that account for 50% of the Olympic Winter Games events. More than 4,000 registered USSA coaches provide nationwide athlete training and program support through USSA clubs. ePath Learning ASSESS aids in the continuing education of these coaches via online testing.
